Can I ride the U3 on a rainy day?
The U3 is rated IP54, meaning it is splash-resistant but not fully waterproof. We do not recommend riding in rain or snow, as water may damage electronic components and such damage is not covered under warranty. Please use with care.
What kind of assembly is required?
The e-bike is 95% pre-assembled. You will need to install the handlebars and a few screws. Follow the manual or watch our step-by-step video guide
Is the U3 compliant with EU regulations?
The U3 is designed in accordance with EU regulations. It comes with a default speed limit of 25 km/h, no throttle installed, and no rated motor power displayed.
Please note that regulations may vary by country or region within the EU—ensure compliance with your local laws before use.
Can the U3 be unlocked for higher speed when used on private property? What is the maximum speed after unlocking?
Yes, when used on private property, the U3 can be unlocked to reach a top speed of approximately 45 km/h.

Does the U3 come with a throttle?
Yes. The throttle is included in the box but not pre-installed. Customers can install it themselves if needed.
Can you provide the P-settings for the U3 meter?
We do not disclose full P-settings to avoid improper changes that may cause irreversible damage and void the warranty.
If you need to verify your settings, please send a video of your current P-values to service@haloknights.com. We will verify and guide you to correct them if needed.
Unauthorized modification may lead to meter failure and require replacement at your cost.
What certifications does the U3 have?
The U3 is certified with CE for electric bikes. The battery is certified with both MSDS and UN38.3 for safety and transport compliance.
Is the battery removable?
Yes, the battery is removable.
Does the battery have overcharge protection?
Yes. The battery has built-in overcharge protection. For safety, unplug the charger after full charge.
