Step 1 – Open the Battery Compartment

Carefully open the battery compartment of your electric scooter to access the battery wiring.

Inside the battery compartment, you will find two different cable connectors:

  • Thin wire connector → Charging port

  • Thick wire connector → Discharge (power output) port

  1. Set your multimeter to DC voltage

  2. Touch the two voltage probes to the metal copper terminals inside the connector

  3. Measure both:

    • Charging port voltage

    • Discharge port voltage

✅ Under normal conditions, the voltage readings from both ports should be the same or very close.
